Small Business Saturday
With the launch of American Express’ new brand identity in 2018, it was important to update one of their most renowned activations—Small Business Saturday— to reflect that same look and feel. We created a system of flexible logotype marks to help consolidate the branding of the event. Additionally, we designed, illustrated, and art directed the animation of roughly 50 GIPHYs for use on social media leading up to and on Small Business Saturday this past fall. This was a fun, branded way for small shoppers across the nation to demonstrate their support in the local community.
