For the First Congregational Church of Burlington, our goal was to create a brand identity that reflects the church’s long-standing spirit of radical inclusivity, joyful faith, and deep community roots. We sought to design a visual language that felt true to FCCB’s rich history, yet fresh enough to engage a modern and evolving congregation.

The Result

The final design blends classic, history-inspired typography with a warm, vibrant color palette pulled from nature and Vermont’s landscapes. Clean, contemporary layouts and human-first photography highlight the church’s welcoming culture and spirit of connection. Custom textures and brand icons, inspired by stained glass and natural motifs, add a layer of meaning and reverence throughout the brand experience.

  • It looks like us but a little gussied up!

    We’re absolutely thrilled with the brand identity and website—it just looks like us, but a little gussied up. We LOVE the primary logo—it’s brilliant and feels so true to FCC. The color palette is perfect, and we really appreciate the thoughtful reasoning behind each design choice. Seeing it come to life has the whole team so excited.
